my Intel® UHD Graphics 630 wont update, and my intel driver support does not make it clear what it is doing, and i would like some help before i try anything my self. and my laptop also likes to not spin the fans when i play an graphical game and then i becomes so hot, that it turns it self off. if any could help that would very appreciated.

To assist you with clarity, I would require more information regarding this.

  • Did this happen after a power outage or surge?

  • Does the computer freeze lockup or shutdown? If the computer shuts down due to overheating then it's a possible hardware failure
  • Did you perform a bios update on the machine?
  • Does the fan spin at all or if it does is it loud and noisy?

I would suggest here is to update the Bios and Chipset drivers. Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.

Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.
