You do need to cancel the order with the HP Store at the Store.
I opened the HP Store USA Customer Service web page and stared at it for a moment (looking at the options).
Looks like (at least here on the West Coast), Chat is available. (Chat is limited to available regions / hours).

Not your HP store? Scroll to the bottom of the website and click the Flag to change regions.
Customer Service - Examples

Appreciate your quick response Dragon. Chat provides an automated response to contact their support and there in lies the problem. I’ll have to wait for a slower business day or hour as the wait time to speak with anyone is rough to say the least.

We don't control the answers - at least not most of them. I dislike saying, "Well, you have to do that" when "that" is not working in a spectacular fashion.
Chat might be closed - I do think their hours are limited even where the feature is supported.
Rats.
I know it can be difficult to get through. I sometimes wonder if there would be a job for "professional on-hold consultant". It might be a "thing" like paying someone to stand in line. Sorry, long time at the keyboard and a poor attempt at humor.
