Yes, this is the problem reported by most users who have Pavillion laptops or desktops. I highly suggest using a reliable cooling pad to take care of high temperatures. However, these levels of high temperatures are common while playing games like GTA V and RDR 2. If it was a desktop computer, I would suggest you use a closed-loop CPU cooler or delid your CPU if the problem was still there. But as you are using a laptop, so I recommend you to go with a cooling pad only.

Hp is one of the best gaming brands. I have also bought a gaming laptop for zestrogaming  but it didn't face any issue.
