Hello everyone,

I have an HP 15-cx0001la laptop and I'm experiencing very high processor temperatures while gaming, reaching over 90°C.

I've tried limiting the maximum processor usage to 99% in the Windows power settings, but it hasn't been enough to reduce the temperatures. Additionally, I'm using a cooling pad and I've changed the thermal paste.

Clean the vents and fans, update BIOS and drivers, and use tools like Throttlestop or OMEN Command Center to undervolt the CPU. Apply quality thermal paste, elevate the laptop for better airflow, and lower in-game settings if temps still exceed 90°C. I did same things on my notebook when am facing the same issue in [link removed]
