I have a laptop with an external monitor connection, I want to fold the laptop and have it work as a desktop. So i want to start my laptop without power button, is there any way i can do it with external mouse or keyboard?

You can do that w/o pressing power from laptop BUT you need a docking station and you can turn on laptop using power button from docking station. Please use the following list of docking stations and select a docking station (on the last few pages) which is compatible with your machine.
