how do I limit maximum charge to 80 percent. My latop is Hp victus 16 I tried to do it in BIOS but I can't find it. I also tried to update BIOS but it says it is up to date. By the way is it really necessary to limit maximum charge to 80 percent? I heard that it helps extend battery life but some also says it is not necessary since modern battery and hardware are advanced enough to protect the battery

HP consumer class notebooks like yours do not have that feature.

Only some HP business class notebooks have an option to limit the battery charge to 80%.
