Hi, I booted up my PC today, and now I have a large, grey caps lock/num lock notification on my screen. I've tried to troubleshoot this myself, but so far have come up unsuccessful. I have an OMEN desktop pc, so I tried to find HP Hotkey Support, which didn't work as it isn't present on my device. I tried Logitech Options, Logitech Options+, SetPoint, and various microsoft settings and control panel options, and none have worked.

How can I fix this really annoying issue?

I have the same problem and I have a temporary fix, but it is annoying and I think it needs to be done every restart (perhaps even more often, haven't tested that).  Start at Settings>Apps>Installed Apps>scroll to HP Event Utility>click on the 4 dots on the right>Advanced Options>scroll down to Terminate and click that.

My husband and I have the same laptop, different mice. He called HP and when the tech uninstalled the mouse software (Logi), it fixed the problem for his laptop. When I uninstalled my mouse (Razer) software it did not fix it.

This problem must be from some sort of HP update that occurred yesterday, but I don't know what it is.
