The fans in my hp omen 15 have a lot of dist covering them. Im not sure if i should clean the fans with compressed air or by vacuuming the dust out. I dont want to take it apart, because i cannot do that without messing up the laptop. The fans are directly under the laptop. I havent cleaned it since I first got it, which was a year ago. Any suggestions?

What I use to clean my laptops is those cans of compressed air that you get in office supply stores.

With the fans running, spray the air at the blades -- but from a few inches away.  Also, if there are vents in the case, spray the air into those, as well.

Good Luck

Since the fans are at the bottom of my laptop, how do i spray them while also keeping the laptop open? Should I just lift it upwards? Also thanks for the reply.

I assumed that when you said the fans were at the bottom, you could actually see them through some vent holes -- and if that is the case, that is where you would direct the spray.

If you can't actually see the fans, then you have to direct the spray through other vents in the case.

There have to be vents because the hot air from the case has to be exhausted somewhere.
