HP OMEN 17-an021no
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So today I was just watching some YouTube on my laptop and I accidentally spilt some soda over the keyboard. I quickly cleaned it up but now my spacebar feels a bit sticky. Like it isn't as responsive as all of the other keys, so I was just wondering if there is any way to remove the spacebar to clean it?

I have a HP OMEN 17-an021no gaming laptop

Thank in advance

Use a clean, damp cloth to remove any dirt, grime and oil buildup on the mouse pad and keyboard. Take a dry cloth and wipe up any excess liquid from the surface of the laptop — especially near the keyboard, vents or ports — and open the lid as far back as it will go. Turn the laptop upside down, put it over a towel or something absorbent, and let the water drain out of it.

  • Note: you could clean the keyboard with water at your own discretion. Do not use more water to clean as it might cause power surge.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thank you for your answer, but is there anyway to remove keys such as the spacebar?

Thank you for posting back.

To get the answer to this question, it's not possible to remove only spacebar key, instead, you need to replace the complete keyboard.
