Hi,
I currently have a HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec1000na AMD Ryzen 5 4600H 8GB 256GB GeForce GTX 1050. This has one HDMI port, two USB, and one USB C. How can I connect two moniters to this? I bought an HDMI splitter, however I cannot configure it so it is not the same second screen across both monitors.
Thanks.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06839329
It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
For more connectivity, please use
True Universal Docking Stations
Regards.
