Hi @iamabhi_civil93,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to increase the size of the C drive on your HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-Cx0141tx running Windows 10 (64-bit), you can follow these steps:

Check Disk Space and Current Partition Layout:

  • First, check how much free space you have on your C drive and the overall partition layout. You can do this by:
    • Right-clicking on This PC or Computer on your desktop or in File Explorer.
    • Select Manage to open the Computer Management window.
    • Click on Disk Management under Storage.

Backup Important Data:

  • Before resizing partitions, it's crucial to back up any important data on your C drive. While the process is generally safe, it's a precautionary step.

Shrink Another Partition (if needed):

  • If there is adjacent unallocated space on your hard drive after another partition (like D drive), you can shrink that partition to create unallocated space.
    • Right-click on the partition you want to shrink (e.g., D drive).
    • Select Shrink Volume and follow the prompts to shrink it to create unallocated space.

Extend C Drive:

  • Once you have unallocated space next to your C drive (or if you've already created unallocated space):
    • Right-click on the C drive partition.
    • Select Extend Volume.
    • Follow the wizard to add the unallocated space to your C drive.

Restart Your Computer:

  • After extending the C drive, restart your computer to apply the changes.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
