Hey guys, I just replaced battery on my HP Omen Laptop (15-ax006ng), and while searching for something online, found one guy on youtube saying that the best way to save our battery life is to disable Microsoft ACPI - Compliant Control Method Battery in Device Manager (Windows 10). Then laptop will use the only adapter as a source of power and not the actual battery.
I am using my laptop 99.9% as work station and it is connected to an adapter all the time. I would like to save its life as much as I can for the time I need.
I've found some answers already that "once the battery is fully charged, the flow to it will be cut off, and the equipment gives priority to use the charger charge."
But since my laptop is not so new, wondering if does the same for old ones or I need to disable that Microsoft ACPI? Or I should not do that?
Thanks!

I wouldn't go overboard to save your battery life, but here are a couple of suggestions you should consider: https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/how-to-care-for-your-laptops-battery/.
Heat is the enemy of your battery -and your laptop in general. Consider placing it on a cooling pad like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016CL2DE6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1.
Hope this helps.
