Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had my laptop for about a year and a half now. I first started to see problems as the front of the screen started peeling away from the plsatic, then the bottom of the screen started popping open. Now all of a sudden one day I tried to close it and the hinge just flat of broke. Sounded like I was crunching gravel as things started to pop out. This is a common issue that I've seen in many other posts that is clearly a design flaw. I'm quite disappointed given HP usually has great quality, yet here my expensive laptop breaks within two years of gentle use.  I've taken great care of it and never have dropped it. But now I can't even close the laptop out of fear It will totally break apart. How come HP hasn't done anything to solve this issue!?!?!
