Hi @Jibran2,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The HP Victus 16 series laptops typically come with single-color backlit keyboards, usually white. However, if your particular model has RGB keyboard backlighting, you can control and customize it using the HP OMEN Gaming Hub software. Here’s a step-by-step guide to manage the RGB lighting on your HP Victus 16 keyboard.

Install HP OMEN Gaming Hub:

  • Go to the Microsoft Store on your laptop.
  • Search for "HP OMEN Gaming Hub" and install it.
  • If it's already installed, make sure it's updated to the latest version.

Open HP OMEN Gaming Hub:

  • Launch the HP OMEN Gaming Hub application from your Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Navigate to the Keyboard Lighting Settings:

  • Once the application is open, look for the section related to lighting or RGB settings. This is usually labeled as "Lighting" or "Keyboard" within the software.
  • If your HP Victus 16 model supports RGB lighting, you should see options to customize the keyboard lighting.

Customize the RGB Lighting:

  • Choose from the available lighting effects such as static, breathing, color cycle, and others.
  • Select your preferred colors for each zone if your keyboard supports zone-based lighting.
  • Adjust the brightness and speed of the lighting effects according to your preference.

Save and Apply Settings:

  • After customizing the lighting, make sure to save and apply the settings.
  • The changes should take effect immediately, and your keyboard should display the selected lighting effects.

If you encounter any issues or if the RGB options are not available, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

  • Your specific model of HP Victus 16 does not support RGB lighting.
  • The HP OMEN Gaming Hub software is not installed or not up-to-date.
  • There might be a need for a firmware update for your keyboard.

In case your model does not support RGB lighting, you will be limited to the default single-color backlighting provided by HP.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
