Hello when i updated the bios in my laptop to the last one i have big problem with many restarts and shutdowns ,when i open the laptop it operates with the third time not with the first and some times it tells me that it found problem with bios and set to default.I updated 2 times the bios and i factory reset the laptop but i have the same problem,the first time has been downloaded with the microsoft update and the 2nd time from your site of hp support.Also i have problem with the recognition of the battery some times the battery disappeares and some times tells that it has 255% available ,very weird.Just to say that the laptop is brand new and not try to undervolt it.Thank you for your time.

@sintalkas

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's test and calibrate the battery: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04700771

You can follow the steps on this for the computer shutting down: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03413399

Also, capture any error codes that should appear after disabling automatic restart on failure for an accurate solution.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!
