Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips!  I understand you are having issues with the Omen speaker not working. don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this.

 

Let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the notebook

Many startup errors and other problems can be resolved by decreasing the amount of power stored in hardware components. Decreasing stored power is sometimes referred to as a "Hard Reset". Use the following steps to perform a hard reset on a computer:

  1. If Windows is open, click Start and then Shutdown.

    If Windows is not open and the computer has power, press and hold the power button on the computer until the computer shuts off.

  2. With the power off, disconnect the power cord from the back of the computer.

  3. With the power off and the power cord disconnected, press the power button on the computer for 5 seconds. The power light indicator on or near the power button might turn on briefly but then go out.

  4. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the power.

Next thing, I would suggest here is to install HP System Event utility from the link below:

When done, restart the notebook.

 

If that doesn't help, the only other suggestion I have at the moment is as follows.

 

Download the Realtek HD Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72294.exe

 

When done, hold down the Windows key and press R

 

Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.

 

In Device Manager, expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers.  Right click the Realtek device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.

 

When complete, download and reinstall the Chipset driver on your PC from our HP support website, using this link.

 

When the Chipset reinstallation has completed, shutdown the notebook.

 

Unplug the AC Adapter.

 

Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds and then release it. 

 

Plug in the AC Adapter.

 

Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f5, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.  Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.

 

When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder, right click on the Realtek installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. 

 

When this has completed, restart the notebook and let windows fully load for a few minutes before checking the speaker animation.

Thank you for taking your time to help me out I really appreciate it and am greatful. 

I was literally about to update, I found out that it was because my volume(earphone) was not to the scale high enough to show the speaker animation, this was because i was using in ear earphones which require low volume, so i tested speakers and over ear headphones and they were animating because of the higher volume scale allowing for the animation.
