I was typing when i felt that some As werent typed and then i noticed that i needed to press harder on the A button in order to register . The button is not physically stuck and the rest of the buttons are all functional

This looks like a hardware issue. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the keyboard replacement.
