@shahidabbas2001, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand how frustrating it must be to deal with repeated restarts, BIOS freezes, and overheating on your Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa0031dx. You've already done a lot of great troubleshooting, so let's build on that and try to get your system back to working condition.

  • Laptop stuck at BIOS or Victus logo
  • Random restarts and freezes during automatic repair
  • Processor overheating
  • F10 BIOS access freezes
  • Win+B BIOS recovery failed
  • BIOS flashed to F.29 via external flasher
  • Voltages on board appear normal
  • USB/NVMe boot hangs
  • RAM reseated and thermal paste reapplied

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting Guide:

Perform a Hard Reset

Sometimes residual power can cause boot issues.

  • Disconnect charger and all peripherals.
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Reconnect only the charger and try powering on.

Check for POST (Power-On Self-Test)

  • Remove both RAM sticks and try booting with one stick in each slot.
  • If available, test with known-good RAM.
  • Disconnect SSD/NVMe temporarily and try entering BIOS.

BIOS Recovery via HP Hardware Recovery

Since Win+B failed, try this:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Hold Windows Key + V, then press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds, then release the power button but keep holding Win+V.
  • If successful, you’ll hear beeps and see a BIOS recovery screen.

Thermal and GPU Check

You mentioned overheating and a possible graphics issue. Try:

  • Booting into Safe Mode (if possible) via Windows Recovery.
  • If it boots in Safe Mode, GPU drivers may be corrupt.
  • Use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode to remove GPU drivers, then reinstall from HP Support.

HP Diagnostics UEFI

If BIOS access is possible:

  • Tap Esc repeatedly at startup → choose F2 for diagnostics.
  • Run System Test and Component Tests (especially for memory and storage).

If BIOS is inaccessible, create a USB diagnostics tool:

Check for Shorted Components

Since voltages seem okay, but the system hangs:

  • Inspect the GPU VRM section for burnt or shorted capacitors.
  • Use a multimeter in continuity mode to check for shorts near inductors and capacitors.
  • If unsure, share a high-res image of the board for guidance.

Consider EC (Embedded Controller) Reset

Some Victus models support EC reset:

  • Hold Ctrl + Alt + Delete for 10 seconds while powered off.
  • Then power on and check behavior.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
