I have done everything I could see from the community to solve this problem, like updating all kinds of drivers such as my graphics cards, updated the BIOS, updated my monitor drivers in the ''device manager'', update everything I had pending in the Windows update and HP support assistance, but nothing works I still can not adjust the brightness of my screen, I wish you could help me to solve this inconvenience that is driving me crazy guys.

Brother, I feel you. This sh1t has been driving me crazy as well. I've got a Victus 15 with 7535HS processor and 2050 GPU and been having the same issue. It's these **bleep** f0cking driver updates. Seems like you've got a similar setup. So far what I've figured is that it's an AMD driver related issue, since that's responsible for the main laptop screen. I assume you've got the same problem as I, that the brightness is maxed out and you can't change it, even though you see the brightness slider change.
One solution that has seemed to work is to uninstall all AMD related drivers and software and installing an older version of it. I've taken that from some guy in some forum, don't quite remember, my bad. He mentioned version 23.2.2 of AMD's software, you know, Adrenalin and what not. I did that and was able to fix it, even when restarting my laptop (which messed it up even when it seemed fixed by other methods).
Here's the link to the version:
AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.2.2 Release Notes
And set it up so that it doesn't update automatically. I think you gotta tweak with some settings in Windows update and AMD's software itself. Hope this helps.
By the way, this was bothering me so much I tried updatting everything, same as you. What I didn't know is that I'd end up **bleep**ing my laptop even further after updating the BIOS. Now it randomly restarts or freezes, mostly when it's idling. This whole thing is driving me insane. I miss a month ago, when it was working fine no problems. These **bleep**ty ass updates I tell you.
Sorry for my language. As you can probably tell, this has been stressing me a lot.

Ok, so I thought I might add: removing your current AMD drivers and installing the ones recommended by HP might also work. Could be that AMD's driver updated by itself and it's no longer the OEM-provided drivers as they call it. So you could also go to this page: Official HP® Drivers and Software Download | HP® Support and just input your product info. Scroll down to the graphics driver, and download the AMD driver provided there. If this doesn't work, stick with the solution I previously provided and you should be good. You could also test other AMD driver versions to see if you can get one to work. I'm trying 23.11.1, which is a bit more recent than the one HP recommends.

Dude, You literally saved my [content removed] in this one, your recommendation worked 100% , i don't how to thank you for real hahaha, now i feel very sad for all that you're going through because, i don't know how to help you with the BIOS stuff as you did with me , did you try to communicate with HP support assistance staff?, they have an online chat and their work hours start from 9am, you should give it a try. I hope you can solve your problem soon.

Glad I was able to help you, brother.
Yeah, I'll try to contact them, seems like it's my last resort. Thank you for your concern though. And careful with these driver updates man... they'll break your whole setup haha. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right.
