Hi @meta1066,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
HP does not currently develop a standalone DTS:X Ultra app specific to their devices. Instead, they typically rely on built-in audio enhancement features provided by DTS:X Ultra technology in collaboration with the hardware's preinstalled software and drivers. The DTS:X Unbound app from the Microsoft Store is a general application for enabling and customizing DTS:X features on supported devices, including many HP laptops with compatible hardware.
Here are some details and options to enhance DTS:X Ultra features on your HP Victus 16:
Ensure DTS:X Ultra Support
- Check if your HP Victus 16 officially supports DTS:X Ultra. It is typically included as part of the audio driver package installed with your system. You can verify by:
- Opening the DTS:X Unbound app.
- Checking your audio settings in Windows Sound Control Panel or HP Command Center for DTS-related options.
Update Audio Drivers
- Ensure that your Realtek audio drivers (or the equivalent driver for your device) are up-to-date. You can do this by:
- Visiting the HP Support website and downloading the latest audio drivers for your model.
- Installing updates through Windows Update or HP Support Assistant.
Using DTS:X Unbound
- Since you already have DTS:X Unbound installed:
- Open the app and make sure it recognizes your device and outputs audio in the DTS:X format.
- If it doesn't recognize the hardware, the laptop may not have built-in DTS:X Ultra support or the correct driver version.
Third-Party Apps for Similar Effects
- If your system lacks full DTS:X Ultra functionality, you can explore alternative apps like Dolby Access (for Dolby Atmos) or software EQs to enhance your audio experience.
HP-Specific Features
- Some HP laptops include audio enhancement settings under Bang & Olufsen Audio Control or Omen Audio Control. If available, you can use these for sound customization.
- For the Victus line, these controls might be more basic, but updates in HP Omen Gaming Hub can also provide additional options.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Actually, I am asking about this as this is released by DTS.
https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9n0h1m8j1308?tp=U29mdHdhcmVHYW1pbmcgTkI%3D&rtc=1&hl=en-GB&gl=MY (Microsoft store) There is two DTS software released by DTS.
Seems like the developer have fixed it welp it is working. Two DTS software still in support then.
Good finally true audio enhancement somewhat like B&O audio
Thanks
