Hi @Parameswar1

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wd000 is experiencing display flickering and Bluetooth connection issues.

Here are steps to address both problems:

Resolving Display Flickering:

Adjust Refresh Rate:

  • Right-click on your desktop and select Display Settings.
  • Scroll down to Advanced Display Settings and set the refresh rate to a lower value (e.g., 60Hz). If flickering stops, gradually increase the refresh rate to test stability.

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your laptop's graphics card (both integrated and discrete GPUs).
  • Install the drivers and restart your laptop.

Switch Graphics Mode:

  • Open the OMEN Gaming Hub and switch the graphics mode to Hybrid instead of Discrete. Some users have reported that this resolves flickering issues.

Check for BIOS Updates:

  • Update your BIOS to the latest version from the HP Support page. BIOS updates often resolve hardware-related issues.

Test External Display:

  • Connect your laptop to an external monitor. If the external display works fine, the issue might be with the laptop's screen hardware.

Fixing Bluetooth Connection Issues:

Update Bluetooth Drivers:

  • Open Device Manager (press Windows + X and select Device Manager).
  • Expand Bluetooth, right-click on your Bluetooth adapter, and select Update Driver.
  • Download the latest Bluetooth driver from the HP Support website.

Reset Bluetooth Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & Other Devices.
  • Turn off Bluetooth, wait for 30 seconds, and turn it back on.

Unpair and Reconnect Devices:

  • Remove all paired devices and reconnect them. This can resolve connection glitches.

Check for Interference:

  • Ensure there are no devices nearby causing interference (e.g., microwaves or other wireless devices).

Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional Troubleshooters.
  • Select Bluetooth and run the troubleshooter.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Regards,
