Hi @Ukrosy,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Small black lines on your laptop screen, especially during gaming, could be a sign of a few potential issues.

  • Graphics Driver Issue: Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can cause display problems. Try updating your graphics drivers through the device manager or the HP website.
  • Screen Artifacts: These can occur due to overheating or high performance demands. Ensure your laptop is well-ventilated and not overheating. You might also want to check if the problem persists with different games or applications.
  • Cable or Connector Issue: Sometimes, loose or damaged internal cables can cause display issues. If you’re comfortable doing so, you might check to ensure the display cables are securely connected.
  • Hardware Issue: If the issue persists, it could be a sign of a failing screen or GPU.
  • Display Settings: Occasionally, tweaking display settings or resolution can resolve such issues. Try adjusting the resolution or refresh rate in the display settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
