@Sanket17, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is enabled in the BIOS/UEFI but not recognized by Windows Device Manager, or TPM.msc and BitLocker, you can follow these steps to potentially resolve the issue:

Enter BIOS Setup:

  • Restart your computer.
  • During the boot process, press F10 to enter BIOS Setup.

Check TPM Settings:

  • Navigate to the Security tab.
  • Ensure that the TPM State is set to Enable.
  • Also check other related settings such as TPM Device, TPM Specification Version (should be 2.0), and TPM Activation Policy.

Clear TPM (if necessary):

Steps in Windows

Check Device Manager:

  • Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand the Security Devices section.
  • Look for Trusted Platform Module 2.0. If it’s not present, proceed to the next steps.

Run tpm.msc:

  • Press Win + R, type tpm.msc, and press Enter.
  • Verify if the TPM is recognized and details are shown.

Update TPM Driver:

  • In Device Manager, right-click on Trusted Platform Module 2.0 and select Update Driver.
  • Choose to search automatically for updated driver software.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
