Product: Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fb0153AX (8H5K2PA)
I own the Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fb0153AX (8H5K2PA) model and i want to upgrade my ram from 8gb to 16gb but in the task manager it says slot 2 of 2, Does that mean i am going to have to replace my old ram and the buy whole 16gb of ram. Also it says SODIMM, does that mean it is soldered into the motherboard, i am confused about what to do because i don't want to open it up for no reason as the laptop is fairly new. Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance.

Hi:
Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates the notebook can support 2 x 8 GB of memory.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
Why HP installed the memory in slot 2 rather than slot one is anybody's guess.
