I want to add more ram memory to my laptop,but I am not sure if it will void my warranty.

Is it okay if i add ram memory?

Hi:

 

According to chapter 5 of the service manual, upgrading the memory or storage drives is a customer-authorized procedure.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC

 

So, you should not void the warranty unless you break something in the process of doing the upgrades.

 

Bear in mind that if your notebook needs warranty service, you will need to return it to its original hardware configuration.

 

Your notebook supports up to 2 x 16 GB of memory.
