HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-cx0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need some guidance, I have two hard drives in this computer one C: Windows 118 GB, and the other D:DATA which is 931GB, for a total of 1TB, Now given that my c drive is limited, and the data drive is completely empty. I would like to utilize the space on the D:drive to install my game software leaving the C:drive for windows/updates and recovery.

It doesn't make since to me to have all that space on the d:drive and not use it. So my question for the community is:

How do I install my gaming software on the D:drive  and make it to where it works, and accessible.

Can some one help me to do this:

Farming Simulator 17

Farming Simulator 19

Hello @MikeWilson_Sr

Most games should work fine if installed on another drive.

To do this, create a new folder on the D drive and name it something like Games if you are installing directly from a DVD or such. When the game is installing, it will ask you where you want to install it to. Thats when you point it to the right spot.

If using a game down-loader service like Steam or Origin, create a folder just for Steam Games or Origin Games.

Then in the Steam or Origin settings, you put where you want the install location to be.

I have separate install folders for Steam, Origin, Epic, UbiSoft.. etc.
