My Laptop's internal Webcam is not working, I have test the Hardware diagnostics but it seems all okay and the web cam is detected successfully but the camera still doesn't work. It seem that it is trying to start but it fails, because I can see the camera indicator(the white light) is blinking with the delay of 2-3 secs. I want to make it work properly..

@bigyankumar, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Basic Checks
Try Another App:
Open the Camera app in Windows.
Try using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Skype. See if the issue is app-specific.
Check for Conflicts:
Unplug any external webcam (if you’ve used one).
Only one camera can be active at a time.
Device Manager – Reinstall Camera Driver
Press Win + X, choose Device Manager.
Expand "Cameras" or "Imaging devices".
Right-click the internal camera (usually named HP Wide Vision HD Camera or similar), and select:
Uninstall device
Check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device", if available.
Restart your laptop. Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.
Update Camera Driver
Go back to Device Manager.
Right-click the camera > Update Driver > Search automatically.
Alternatively, check HP’s support site for the latest webcam drivers for your model:
HP Support - Drivers & Software
Check Camera Access Permissions
Go to Settings > Privacy & security > Camera.
Ensure:
Camera access is turned On.
Let apps access your camera is On.
Specific apps (like Zoom, Teams, etc.) are allowed access.
Also, I suggest you refer to this guide for further troubleshooting steps: HP PCs - Troubleshoot the webcam (Windows 11 and Windows 10) | undefined
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
