HP Omen 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is 86 Degrees a common temp for an HP Omen 15 when gaming on high to ultra graphics? Examples of games i play are COD BOCW, Farcry New Dawn, GTA V so on. I have seen some forums say thats not that hot and others say that is hot especially at long periods of play. Also i would like to know (i run my fan at high speed when i game) should i use the default profile when i game (which is used for all types of tasks) or should i run the performance profile or does it even matter when i run my fan at max speed anyway? I am kind of worried that at 86 Degrees without the fan at max speed for prolonged time it will damage my cpu and gpu. So, to sum it up am i ok at 86 degrees celsius or is that too hot and which profile should i use when gaming (keep in mind that i run my fan at max speed always when i game).

Many users have their machines run over 90°C.

Running over 90°C is very normal for an HP Omen. Two fans are not enough, it uses 150W to 200W when gaming. Have you tried to touch to a 100W incandescent lamp (when it's on) ?

Please try a cooling pad, this may help a bit. Machine will automatically shut itself down when too hot.
