Does your laptop battery charge only when the laptop is turned off? Click here to view the solution

I recently bought an HP Victus 15-fb2000nr. I am wondering if it's possible to limit the battery charge to 80% since I will use it mostly for gaming while plugged it. I don't want to wear down my battery.

The "Adaptive Battery Optimizer" in BIOS is enabled but it still charged to 100%. Any solution?

Unfortunately, that is not possible for your notebook.

Only some HP business class notebooks have that feature.

See the link below for how to get the most life out of your notebook's battery:

My only suggestion is to not leave the notebook plugged into A/C power 24/7/365 with the battery in a constant 100% charge state.

Run the notebook off the battery once in a while.
