OMEN by HP - 15-dc0051nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all, I purchased this HP Omen 15-dc0051nr 60hz screen yesterday, and the laptop is great! But I noticed the screen is tinted yellow, as you can see in the pictures compared to my other laptop.  Yes I have turned off any color changing programs, is this normal? Should I get an exchange?IMG_3687.JPGIMG_3686.JPGIMG_3683.JPGIMG_3681.JPG

I heard this is default? Is this true?

@zeusthedino

Hard to say as every system will look different in display color.

I would also check to see if the system night light mode is turned on.

Go to All Settings>System>Display and see if Night Light is on, turn it off if so.

No, like I said nothing is on. I just need to know if this is normal or not really

I cant tell by your photos how yellow it is. My monitor shows your normal one to be too blue.

You would do best to either contact HP Support for further help,

or

take it back to the store for an exchange.

Turn it on for the salesman and show them the issue. Perhap they have a floor model that you can hold it up against and compare. if its bad, they should replace it for you.

Your welcome. Do come back and let me know what the results are.

Check if Windows "Night Mode" is not enabled... By default it turns the screen to a yellowish tint.

At @Skirmich That's what he did earlier. Its towards the beginning.
