HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 16-a0051wm
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, I am currently using the system at a capped performance at 3.6 Ghz and the temperature still shoots near 90.
I want to know if I can undervolt it to prevent these temperatures because I don't want to fry the CPU and still enjoy the games I play regularly.
BIOS is F.21 and CPU undervolting is locked, is there any solution for this? so I can play on 4.5Ghz without worrying about the temperatures.
There are updates to F.28 Rev.A idk if it allows undervolting but it only shows it for WIndows 10 so I thought it is better to ask here before doing anything on my own.

Enter the phrase 'edit power plan' in the window search box
Then select the 'Advanced' tab

To keep the CPU from overheating , consider
using %99 instead of %100

This will keep the CPU out of turbo mode

If hyperthreading is an option in the BIOS then disable it. Most games use only one core of the CPU.

Best is to use a laptop cooler

To mitigate the heat problem you should use a laptop cooler.

Make sure the battery is fully charged before starting a game. Charging the battery while playing can overheat the motherboard.

But if I turn off the turbo mode, the games will just lose fps.
I want a more reliable fix, I want to unlock the undervolting in this laptop.

and I wanted to ask if I should update the BIOS or not? is there any undervolting setting in the latest BIOS
