Product: Pavillion 15

I can only type when holding down the "Pause" key. Other times it brings up shortcuts. I've only had the laptop for about 3 hours, Any Advice?

You would do best to contact HP Support directly for a warranty issue.

Your keyboard may be phyically damaged.

Make sure you have it fully updated also.
