System Model: OMEN by HP Laptop 15-ce0xx
Hello, recently, one of my keycaps have come off. After inspecting it I believe that the clip on the top of the keycap have broken (the smaller clips). I'm just wondering if I could buy a replacement keycap from HP or how I would go about replacing this key. No other part of the key is broken, ie: neither the rubber dome nor the key housing. Simply the cap.
Another option I could pursue would be to fix the cap myself. However, I would only do this if a cap is not available at all. If this route were to be followed would it be best to use epoxy, or some other material, to fix the clip?

Hello @Sears
HP does not sell replacement keys, only the whole keyboard and sometimes those aren't available either. You would have to research what you can come up with online. Here is one such place that claims to have keys that fit... https://www.replacementlaptopkeys.com/hp-omen-15-ce000-keyboard-keys-replacement/
Otherwise you will have to get creative and see if epoxy would work. I couldn't say without being there to see it.
