I had this laptop for about a few months and then the computer started losing connection every 20 or so minutes. I looked at the wifi which was fine and the computer itself said Internet Access but when I want to do anything internet related it says there is no connection. Later in about a minute, everything goes back to normal. I did a Windows troubleshoot which couldn't even find the problem. I checked all my other devices and they worked fine. Eventually, I found out when I take my Laptop downstairs there is no problem but upstairs it doesn't work. I don't know what to do, HELP!

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I recommend you uninstall the wireless driver from device manager and then download and install it from the below link.
https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
Here is how it is done.
- Start Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, and then click Device Manager.
- Expand the node that represents the type of device that you want to uninstall, right-click the device entry, and click Uninstall.
- On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK to start the uninstall process.
- When the uninstall process is complete, remove the device.
NOTE: On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click the Delete the driver software for this device option to delete the driver package that was used for the device.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I tried uninstalling the wireless driver but nothing happened and that link doesn't take me anywhere. I was suggested to get a new wifi driver and replace the old one. I don't want to take my computer apart but looks like I have to. And this all wouldn't have been a problem if the laptop came with such a feeble wireless driver. I'm very disappointed.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
