Hello all,
While waiting for my screw set to appear, I thought I'd be able to test some things out. I put everything in place other than the battery screws and the bottom cover screws and set it upright. Upon pushing the power button, the only thing that happened was the light on the power button shining but no boot.
Do I have to have all the screws in place to test it for booting?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Have you made any hardware/software changes?
- Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
Keep me posted for further assistance.

Was that a yes or no?
I just got my screw kit and sorted the screws. Before I screw everything back together, I'd like to know if I should be able to boot the computer without everything screwed back together so I'm not doing a lot of screwing/unscrewing just to diagnose.

I'm sorry but I find this hard to understand. Would you mind numbering the steps taken?
It would be appreciated very much.
