I have an hp omen 15z-en100, and after just repasting it the power button would just blink and never turn on. The only thing i did was disconnect the power brick and remove and put back the heatsink. I have asked help from another community and asked me to thoroughly check for anything that has been disconnected. I did and as far as I could tell nothing was. I made sure the power brick was connected back properly and as well as the heatsink. I have already looked how to fix this like disconnecting the battery and turning it back on but it never worked for me. Can someone help me?

Hi @Keitaro1,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you've done a lot of the right things, but there might be a few more checks and steps to try:
Recheck Connections: Double-check all internal connections, especially around the CPU and GPU areas. Sometimes even slightly misaligned connectors can cause power issues.
Check for Short Circuits: Make sure that no thermal paste has spilled over onto the motherboard or other components. If it has, gently clean it with isopropyl alcohol.
Inspect the RAM: Remove and reseat the RAM modules. Sometimes, removing and reseating RAM can resolve boot issues.
Try a Hard Reset:
- Disconnect the power adapter.
- Remove the battery if it’s removable.
- Hold the power button down for about 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Reconnect the battery and power adapter, then try turning on the laptop again.
Check the Power Brick and Adapter: Confirm that the power brick is functioning properly and supplying the correct voltage. If possible, try using another compatible power brick to rule out issues with the power supply.
Check for Error Beeps: When the laptop is powered on, listen for any beep codes. These can indicate specific hardware issues.
Test Without the Battery: If the battery is removable, try booting the laptop with just the power adapter connected and the battery removed.
Inspect the Heatsink Installation: Ensure that the heatsink is properly aligned and seated. If it’s not making good contact with the CPU or GPU, it might cause thermal issues or short circuits.
Consult the Manual: Look up the laptop’s service manual for any specific steps or indicators related to troubleshooting power issues.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
