Ok, so I'm a little new to doing upgrades to my own computer, I've had my HP gaming laptop for almost a year now, and I wanna upgrade the ram so I can multitask stuff better, without worrying if I'm leaving something open it won't eat my RAM while I'm gaming or not.
Ok so I did and been trying to do some research on HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec0xxx and based from what I've seen on the web, I see it's possible to upgrade my RAM to 32gb? thought I'm not sure if thats entirely true, and should I get 2 16gb cards or 1 whole 32gb ram card.
My computer has 2 RAM slots and one is filled currently with stock 8gb RAM.
I can install the ram myself but I just don't know what to get that's good and compatible with my computer, if anyone who's upgraded the ram for my same exact model do you know what RAM card (by whatever company) I should get for my gaming laptop? I can go for either 16gb or 32gb (not completely sure on the 32gb if my computer can do that much if anyone knows you can please let me know!)
first time using this site for asking questions I'm wondering for upgrading something on my computer! ^-^

Your machine is very close to its sister
which has 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now and you can upgrade to
(a) 16GB: add same existing 8GB to slot 2 or using the following compatible RAM

(b) 32GB (max): using the following compatible RAM (will run at 2400MHz)

or https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/bl2k16g32c16s4b/ct16750032

Thanks so much! Another question, I was considering this RAM card for my computer as it's being sold by a local best buy, do you think this would also be compatible for my computer if I was to buy 2? (If not I'll most likely buy the ones you suggested)

I can't say yes or no because all RAM sticks are not the same, but BB should stock Crucial RAM's. Please ask them
