I am using HP -15 Pavilion bc408tx Notebook. intel i7 processor, 1 X8GB DDR4 RAM, 128 GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 4GB NVIDIA Graphics card. The RAM frequency advertised at 2400MHz. But on checking with CPU-Z, it is showing only 1333MHz which is lesser with its specification. I came to know that enabling Dual channel XMP will improve the RAM performance. But I couldn't find out such settings in my BIOS. My BIOS version is F. 21.
could you please suggest to me how I increase the RAM frequency to 2400MHz as it advertised.

It is performing as it is supposed to. You had mentioned previously it was showing 1333. It is defaulting to 2400 as set by either the CPU or the HP motherboard. You would need to add another stick of ram of the same type and timings (matched set) to get dual channel.
If you feel its not performing as you think it should, you can always contact HP Support for warranty help and they can explain it further. Use this link to contact them with... Contact HP Worldwide | HP® Official Site
Hope that helps.

Hello @UmmerKV
Are you looking in CPU-Z's Memory tab, under DRAM Frequency?
If so, its showing the effective clock frequency and you have DDR (Double Data Rate) memory, so 2 x DRAM Frequency.
In simple terms, CPU-Z is showing you half the speed its running (so to speak).
Oddly, it appears your memory speed is even faster than advertised. 2 x 1333 = 2666.
Do a Google search for CPUZ memory dram frequency and you will find lots of people asking the same question.

Thank you for the reply @ Photoray002. The CPU-Z result and Benchmark results are attached here. The benchmark results show the performance is below potential. Is it possible to set Dual channel if i am single slot 1X 8GB.?
