Hp-Omen 17-an008ne
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I recently bought my Hp-Omen 17-an008ne and I have updated all the drivers.

when it comes to programming my macro keys it does not work, the keys only perform the simple programs like windows button or letters, and they perform short cut keys as well like windows+X or Ctrl+C.

However, any combinations with the function keys like FN+F9 (Start / Stop and song) does not work.

I tried everything and I have read the previous community questions but did not find a clue how to solve this issue.

As per the HP Omen Command Center Compatibility list, the Hp-Omen 17-An008ne does not support Omen Control Lightening and Macro keys

Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊

But I did not ask about the lightening, I am asking about the programming of the macro keys.

That does not work for some codes.

please see the pictures attached to understand more the issue.

I suggest you uninstall the HP Omen Command Center form your Notebook, restart and download the latest version from Windows Store. Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/omen-command-center/9nqdw009t0t5?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

Also keep the BIOS updated. Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers

Keep me posted

Dear,

I tried all the mentioned solutions but none worked.

I uninstalled the software and restarted it then upgraded my BIOS and reinstalled it again but none worked, still the same problem.

the first key (P1) types (g) when I press it instead of (Fn+F9)

Also this problem happens when I am using different software, like (Itunes and Groove music)

Hello,

I tried downloading the software from your linked provided but it didn't

work.

it starts installing then I am directed to cmd with some errors showing as no AMD installed.

Then I get a message that windows will sign off, after the restart there is no omen command center.
