Product: Pavilion Gaming 15 ec0105ax
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Im about to buy some new ram for my pavilion gaming, and before i do that, i wanted to make sure the max speed is in fact 2400mhz, since im seeing some articles online that is supports 2666mhz. The ram im about to buy is 2x 8gb HyperX Impact ram.

It has  8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB). You can use 2666MHz or 3200MHz RAM but machine will run at 2400MHz. If you wish to upgrade to 16GB, please add same existing 8GB RAM to slot 2 or using the following compatible RAM

Hey, 

Thanks alot. Just out of curiosity, does it have to be the same stick of ram? And is it possible to run 1x8gb as well as 1x16gb? (if they are compatible of course)
