Quick question: Do you know what specs I should look for on a memory RAM for my HP Pavilion Gaming? So far I know that it's SODIMM and the frequency is 3200 MHz.
I ask this because I'm not able to find the proper information and because no computer store sells memory RAM with a specific frequency of 2933 MHz. I found some information and I see that should I get one with the frequency of 2666 MHz but does a lower frequency is going to work?
And I found a web page in my country that sells a Kingston memory RAM of 3200 MHz and has some specs that I didn't even know I should take into consideration.
These are the specs:
- Type: SODIMM
- Module: 16GB (1x16GB)
- Voltage: 1.2V
- 260-pin SODIMM form factor
- Speed: 3200MHz (PC4-25600)
- Frequency: 3200MHz
- Latency: CL22
Here is the web page if you wish to check, however, is in Spanish.
Thanks for your help in advance!

Hi:
Hopefully, it will work. The specs are right.
Can you get this memory part number in Guatemala?
It is guaranteed to be compatible...
Crucial 16GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT16G4SFRA32A | Crucial.com
If your PC calls for DDR4-2933 memory the DDR4-3200 memory will work fine and automatically bridge to 2933 MHz.
Do not buy DDR4-2666 MHz memory.
That will slow down your PC.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/pr-es/document/c07060552
It has 8 GB de RAM DDR4-2933 MHz (1 x 8 GB). You can use a tool called CPU-Z to see what it is. For example
then buy same RAM for slot 2. Normally very hard to find odd 2933MHz RAM, you have to use 3200MHz and machine will run at lower clock speed.
