I went to sleep watching a movie and ended up turning it off completely. When I woke up I put the cable to charge the battery and it wouldn't turn on the led light when connected to power. I did the tests that HP Brazil assistance suggested but with no results. The notebook is still without any led signal, cooler fan, or other operating signal.
I bought it at Uni euro in Settimo Milanese in Italy but I'm in Brazil. I have no schedule to return to Italy and Uni Euro only claims to trigger the extended warranty after the end of HP's warranty.
I contacted HP Brazil and they couldn't help me. I have a loss of €1,300 for almost 1 month.
I need to return and/or refund the notebook for Brazil.
Or else you would need an authorized assistance from HP for repair in Brazil.

Hi @GabrielCallr,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP Victus laptop may have a hardware issue, particularly with the power system. Here are a few additional steps you could try before considering repair options.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Remove the battery and unplug the power cable. (If the battery is removable; otherwise, skip this step.)
- Hold the power button for at least 30 seconds to drain any residual power.
- Plug the power cable back in (without the battery if it's removable) and try turning it on.
Check for Power Supply Issues:
- Ensure the charger is working by testing it on another device or using another compatible charger.
- If possible, check whether your charging cable and port are functioning properly with a different device or charger.
Examine the Power Jack:
- Inspect the power jack on the laptop for any physical damage, loose connections, or debris.
Remove External Devices:
- Unplug all external devices (USB, external drives, etc.) and try turning on the laptop.
Battery Bypass:
- Try turning on the laptop without the battery installed, directly connected to the charger (if the battery is removable).
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's likely a deeper hardware problem, such as a faulty motherboard, power supply, or internal connection. Since it's not showing any signs of life (no LED, no fan, etc.), this could point to something significant.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
