I brought your issue up through the channels and the Omen Team would like to know if you could help by answering a couple of questions...
- What is the OS version and graphics driver version? Type Winver in the Windows Search bar and hit Enter for the complete OS version. You can find the Graphics driver version in the NVIDIA control panel.
- Would you please provide all Windows Update history?
- Would you please update NVIDIA driver 436.48 from NVIDIA website to see if the issue can be fixed?
I will pass your info back over to them. Thank you.

Suggestion: Would you please update NVIDIA driver 436.48 from NVIDIA website to see if the issue can be fixed?
Response: We both know that is very unusual a windows driver to fix the brightness issues in BIOS (UEFI) mode. Nvm lets do it:)

Thanks @Cyberkos I will pass it along.
Ya typing all the updates is too daunting, but each PC might have different updates. The Engineers would like to see whats there.
I found a command line that will print the main updates to a text file that you should be able to add as an attachment below the reply box. Its the little paper clip icon below where you type your response. The text file will not contain any personal information. If it did, you can always delete that from the text file first. This will make the process quick and easy hopefully. If the attachment icon is not there, let me know.
How to create the text file....
Open a command prompt as administrator.... Type CMD in the Search Bar and choose Run as Administrator.
- Type this line into the window... cd C:\Users\{username}\Desktop and hit the Enter key. Replace {username} with just your user name. Do not include the brackets. This will place the text file onto your desktop.
- Type.... wmic qfe list > UpdateList.txt and hit the Enter key.
Thank for your cooperation. Hopefully the team can find a solution.
