Hi @Paras-verma,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I completely understand how frustrating it is when your laptop’s camera and microphone stop working, especially when you've already tried everything you could find online. You're not alone, and I’m here to help you get this resolved with care and clarity.
Let's Fix Your Camera and Microphone on Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (680A2AV)
Here are the steps to troubleshoot and restore functionality:
Step 1: Check Device Manager
- Press Windows + X → Select Device Manager.
- Expand Imaging Devices and Audio Inputs and Outputs.
- If you see your camera or microphone with a yellow warning icon:
- Right-click → Update driver → Search automatically.
- If missing, click Action → Scan for hardware changes.
Step 2: Enable Devices in Privacy Settings
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
- Make sure Camera access and Let apps access your camera are turned ON.
- Repeat for Microphone under Privacy & Security > Microphone.
Step 3: Reinstall HP Drivers
Sometimes Windows updates or third-party apps can break drivers. Reinstalling from HP directly is the safest fix.

Step 4: Use HP Diagnostics
HP offers built-in tools to test your camera and mic:
- Download HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows from the support page.
- Run the Audio Test and Camera Test.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
