Here's a step-by-step guide to assist you in replacing the fan:

Tools Required

• Phillips screwdriver
• Plastic pry tools
• Anti-static wrist strap (optional, but recommended)

Steps to Replace the Fan

Power Off and Unplug: Shut down your laptop and unplug it from any power source.

Remove the Battery: If your model has a removable battery, remove it. If not, proceed to the next step.

Disassemble the Laptop:

• Remove the screws on the bottom cover of the laptop. Keep track of where each screw belongs.
• Use a plastic pry tool to gently pry open the bottom cover. Be careful not to damage any clips or connectors.

Locate the Fan:

• Once the bottom cover is removed, locate the fan. It will be connected to the motherboard and attached to the heat sink.

Disconnect the Fan:

• Disconnect the fan's power connector from the motherboard.
• Remove the screws securing the fan to the laptop.

Remove the Fan:

• Carefully lift the fan out of the laptop. If it is attached to the heat sink, you may need to remove the heat sink as well. In that case, you will need to reapply the thermal paste when reassembling.
