2 weeks ago i bought this laptop for movies and playing some esport games. I checked the specs and it should get more fps than i do with mine. For example in League of Legends i get 60-150 fps (60 mostly in teamfights, when the cpu is most used) with some settings off, but on other laptop with same specs (i5-9300H and GTX 1650) and maxed settings they get 150 fps in teamfights. How can i fix it? I dont run any background apps, the laptop i bought as sealed, the test were made with the laptop plugged in.
EDIT: Now i've tried Rocket League and i get 15-20 fps on MAIN MENU screen.. (After u launch the game). Now im desperate cuz i dont have any other game to play, i've tried hp diagnostic but nothing..

@Robu_Felix Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are facing performance issue.
I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution;
When was the last time it worked without these issues (date)?
Which games are causing these issues and are they online games or installed on your PC?
Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on HP Forums?
What is the product number of your computer? (Ensure you don't share any personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc..).
In the meantime, you may try the below steps, as even if the game is compatible with your system hardware it may have a slow performance because you are using the windows 8, 8.1 or 10 as the OS uses most of the CPU & graphics card usage, you might want to reduce the visual effects for windows to save the amount of CPU & Graphics card usage required to run your game properly.
Here's how you do it:
-
Go to Start Menu > click on Settings.
-
Type performance > choose Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.
-
In the new window, go to the Visual Effects and select Adjust for best performance.
-
click Apply and ok...this should do the trick.
If the issue persists, The best way to resolve the issue is to follow the suggestions of the HP Guided Troubleshooter:
Click here to access it (simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).
CLICK HERE FOR MORE STEPS AND INSTRUCTIONS.
(by the end of this document, all the issues should be resolved)
Keep us posted,

Hi, ty for reply.
The problem with Rocket League is now gone, i think is a bug when the laptop is low battery and i play the game and connect the battery, but a restart solved the problem.
But when i run League of Legends i dont get the fps i should get and that's the main problem. With the settings not maxed out in teamfights i get under 100 fps but in others tests with same specs (the processor and the graphics card) but other laptop they get 160 fps in teamfight which i see as a big diff. Is it possible to get a laptop with a weaker processor even if it is the same model?
I dont have any problem or error, I've tried "dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and "sfc /scannow" and ran some troubleshooters.
My product number is 7QD49EA#AKE

I understand your concerns.
In that case, I would suggets you try creating a new user account on your computer.
Go to http://hp.care/2dWJKgW and follow the steps to create a new user account.
If the issue still persists, perform the system reset.
Have a nice day!!

U have 2 graphics card's? (Intel HD and GTX 1650) If yes in pavilion's model's u must switch a graphic card to NvIdia, to do it follow my instructions:
Click on desktop right click mouse -> Nvidia control panel (if u don't have Nvidia control panel reinstall drivers for gpu)
Step 1 : Nvidia control panel -> click "manage 3D settings"
Step 2: Manage 3D settings -> Global settings
Step 3: Global settings -> if you see "prefered graphics processor" change to "High performance NVIDIA processor"
Step 4: Click the "NVidia PhysX" and click from "auto-select" to (your gpu) gtx 1650
Step 5: Click "Apply"
Enjoy!
