HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0002nt
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I will share my thoughts and experiences about HP. Towards the end of 2019, I bought the HP Pavilion 15-DK0002NT gaming laptop. The first month I bought it, it froze for no reason. I would enter the game and it would freeze after 3 minutes. It was like this in every game; it would freeze even in the most difficult game or Mario. First, I wrote to the e-commerce site where I bought it and sent it to the warranty. It was sent as thermal paste changed, serviced, tested and the problem was solved. I bought the computer, came home, set it up, downloaded ETS2 and wanted to try it. After 5 minutes, a strange sound came and it froze again. I contacted HP support and wanted to use it since it was under warranty. I had contacted them via WhatsApp at the time; they told me a few methods, I did it but it didn't work. This time, I sent the computer to their service. After 1 month in the service, they said the problem was due to the fans, the problem was fixed and they sent it back. I played games for the first month without any problems but it froze again. The same problem persisted. I sent it to HP service again, detailed maintenance was done. It was done and they sent it again. I loaded the games etc., entered and it froze again. I recorded the freezing moment as a video, recorded the sound, indicated it as a picture and it was 2 am. Even here, if you look, I asked for help. I sent the computer for the 3rd time, this time they found a fault in the motherboard. They fixed it as they said and sent it back, but it froze again. Then I got tired, I got bored, I took it to different computer repair shops 7 times but it still didn't work. Now I sent it to a place miles away from me but I have no hope that it will be done. I upgraded the RAM, SSD, bought a cooler but still no solution. Now it gives a blue screen, constantly restarts and the computer only works when plugged in. As you can see, it got worse. I got tired. I also ran out of budget. I wrote to many forum pages on the internet but I still couldn't find a solution. Most people say it is chronic or a screen product. I am not writing to badmouth a brand, I just gained experience and wrote about the problems I experienced and experienced myself. I wanted to vent. I am facing an unsolvable problem and I just wanted to buy a computer. There is no channel I haven't watched on YouTube. There is no place I haven't looked at in terms of software and hardware, but it still hasn't been resolved. Also, there is a written document of everything I've experienced. Everything is written down one by one on paper. The purpose of expressing these thoughts is to explain how a problem hasn't been resolved; I don't understand. It was truly a great experience for me. I thank HP and its team very much, but this is not your fault, it's my fault. Apparently I made the wrong brand choice. It's been 5 years and I've struggled with this problem every year. Believe it or not, I've only put my experiences, my experiences and why a problem hasn't been resolved here.

The problem with this computer is something like cancer. At least the name of the disease is clear. Neither the problem with the computer nor its name is clear, no matter who I tell or consult, they always find the cause in something different.

People just look and leave. No one writes anything. Just as I predicted.

Hi @Eness__,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you have multiple issues with the product, and I see that you have a BSOD and multiple issues with the product. Sorry to hear about the issue.

Let's try a BIOS Restore. Let's try disabling the Auto restart, and once you try, if you get the BSOD failure, please do share the error so I can help you better.

Try BIOS Restore:
BIOS Restore :
1) Shut down the computer, keep the  charger plugged
2) Hold down the Windows and B button together while the computer is still turned off.
3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B buttons until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.
4) Follow the on-screen instructions and click on OK

Please use the link shared to disable the Auto Restart function: Click Here

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

It never worked. The main problem with the computer is that it freezes. I sent it to HP service 3 times. All 3 times, a different part was found to be faulty and replaced, they tested it and sent it back. When it reached me, I downloaded and entered the game, it froze after only 5 minutes. I have been dealing with this problem for 5 years and I regret choosing the HP brand. I think I was sent a laptop with chronic problems. Empathize and what would you do if something like this happened to you?

Hi @Eness__,

Related to the issue you are facing, the only other option is to try a clean installation of Windows, and before you try that, I would request you to run a hardware test on the Pc and let me know the results.

Extensive Test

1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
4. Click Extensive Test.

Take care and have a good day.

The computer was formatted 3 times and the problem recurred. After that, I sent it to HP service. Because I thought the problem was hardware, but they couldn't solve it. I formatted 3 times and reset it 2 times. It was Windows 10, I did Windows 11, it still didn't work. As I said, the computer freezes. It freezes when it gets to 35 in the tests. It freezes even when I don't do anything. I don't know what to do anymore.
