Hi everyone, please help me. I bought a victus months ago. At first it didn’t turn on, there was a key combination to make it work. The problem is, I left for work and I didn’t use my pc in this time. Now I need to use it, but I forgot the key combination. I tried everything but the pc looks dead

Hi @Lucrezia21,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for sharing the details. Based on your description and the search results, it sounds like your HP Victus laptop might be experiencing a firmware or BIOS-related issue that previously required a special key combination to recover from.

BIOS Recovery Key Combo for HP Victus

  1. Disconnect the power adapter.
  2. Press and hold the Windows + B keys simultaneously.
  3. While holding those keys, press and hold the Power button for about 2–3 seconds.
  4. Release the Power button but keep holding Windows + B until:
    • You hear beeping sounds, or
    • BIOS recovery screen appears

This process attempts to trigger a BIOS recovery mode, which can bring the laptop back to life if it’s stuck in a firmware state.

If That Doesn’t Work:

  • Try the same steps but with Windows + V instead of Windows + B.
  • Also, try a hard reset:
    1. Disconnect all external devices and power.
    2. Hold the power button for 15–20 seconds.
    3. Reconnect the power and try turning it on again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
