I need to file a claim on the warranty of my new HP Victus 15 laptop purchased last month (Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa0020nr, Product# 644Z5UA#ABA). It won't even power on! The charge light doesn't even come on when I connect the power adapter! I did an internet search for something like "HP Victus 15 won't power on" and was shocked to see that several people have had this problem! NOTHING that was suggested via the search results worked. I went to the HP Support site (https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact), since the laptop is still under warranty, but it's not letting me get to the area to actually file a claim. I go to CONTACT US and it asks for my laptop info so I enter that info (that info is provided though when I am logged in) and then I click on the problem being that it won't power on. It then shows a video as to how to run the HP Diagnosis (obviously won't work since the laptop won't power on). And then the only other option is to click to see ways to contact HP which I thought would reveal a support email address or a CHAT option, but it only shows a means to find the nearest HP Service Center. What am I missing? I had to file a claim on an older laptop way back in 2017 and the area to file a claim was easily found. I need an HP support email address or a different HP link that will allow me to actually file a claim on the warranty. Truly, this so frustrating!

Welcome to the HP support community.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
