Hi

I recently bought newes version of Omen laptop and I want to install Qubes os on it but it requires legacy boot  and BIOS doesnt have option for legacy boot. I check on my older acer laptop and changed to legacy mode and it works so I know there is not a problem with usb from which qubes os is booted. So is there any way to change from uefi to legacy boot ?

As far as I know, Intel was stopping Legacy Mode but AMD was keeping it.

Should be under Security > Secure Boot configuration or similar.

 

What bios version do you have? The latest is F.07  sp110332.exe

IF that doesn't fix it, then HP removed that function after all and there would be no way of changing it.

I have F.07 BIOS version and after some research it seems that they probably removed legacy boot option.
